If you are looking for a friendly, peaceful RV Park with scenic beauty, fishing, and hiking with exceptional personal service, located on the edge of the beautiful Hill Country, the Republic of Texas Campground welcomes you and your family. Our campground is located at 17404 Highway 16, approximately 7 miles south of Comanche, TX 76442, 35 miles northwest of Hamilton, TX, and 27 miles north of Goldthwaite, TX. About the Park
This campground currently offers 26 spacious sites, 12 of which are pull-through. Included in these sites are both 30- and 50-amp hookups, water, sewage, WIFI, gorgeous sunrises, and sunsets. Other amenities include a pet area, children’s playground, fishing, hiking, picnic areas, fire rings, a full kitchen available for special events (located in the office), detached bathroom and shower facilities, outdoor and indoor TV, communal area with smoker, and outdoor games.

"Had a great time at the Republic of Texas Campground grand opening. What a great place to bring an RV, our 34 ft motorhome had plenty of space and room for extra parking. Fishing tank that is well stocked. It has hiking trails and a first class lodge with covered porch all the way around. Thanks George , Jennie,Ashley and Chad for the food and hospitality!"

"Such a beautiful place. The first morning we woke to birds singing in all the trees. The park is very well maintained. Grandkids went fishing, played games and roasted marshmallows on a campfire. We will definitely go back, would love to do some bird watching there. The owners were friendly and very helpful."

"Perfect place to make memories! We celebrated Hayleigh’s 10th Birthday at Republic of Texas Campground with family. Friendly folks and a beautiful place! We enjoyed ping pong, corn hole, playground, great bbq, and a warm fire. Community bathrooms are super clean and no trash was to be seen! A unique campground surrounded by beautiful country scenery. We’ll be back for sure!"
